Huntin' Eggs

We had a wonderful Easter at the Kranz house this year. Jeff and DeAnna put on an awesome dinner full of all the traditions. Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, cole slaw, rolls, and lots of good desserts.

The boys....Jake, Spence, and Mason

They live out in the country with lots of land, so there was plenty of room for the kids to run around and find eggs. Papa had the eggs full of goodies and MONEY. We all had fun watching Mason find the eggs. I think he had as much fun taking the eggs out of the basket as putting them in the basket.

Looks like Papa had as much fun on the swing as Mason!!

He was so cute in his little outfit. I know the girls always look so pretty in their dresses, hats, gloves, and shoes, but I such fun putting together Mason's outfit. Even down to his boat shoes....too cute! He didn't wear the shoes long. He is just not a shoe wearer. He would go barefoot everywhere if we would let him.

Easter Morning

We have so many pictures from Easter that I have to separate the posts into two. So Easter morning, Mason got two baskets. One from the Easter bunny and one from Nana and Papa. If you are keeping count, this will be number 2 and 3 (baskets for Mason). Goodness, no one loves this child. He was so thrilled when he woke up and saw the baskets sitting their, calling his name. HA!

The Easter bunny was really thinking this year. He got Mason some things for the beach. A beach ball, a bubble maker, and some water shoes. He also brought Mason a book, a chocolate bunny, some new jammies and some goldfish.

Look Mommy, I got some chocolate!

Poor fella. He can't figure out what to look at first.

I think he liked the grass as much as the gifts!

Bunny!!

Mason visited the Easter bunny on Saturday with Caity. Since he is obviously more aware this year, we were not sure how he would react. He was perfectly fine. He didn't seem to care one way or the other. Of course, it may have helped that Caity was with him.

We just took our own pictures and video instead of buying the packages that they offered. For some reason, you could only buy packages and they had to be of the same pose. Bummer. They could have made a little money off of us had they let you create your own package. Oh well.

I think the pictures that we took came out fine anyway. Mason and Caity had fun and that's all that matters.

Early Easter

We went to Grammy and Paw Paw's for dinner on Sunday and Mason got a big surprise. The Easter bunny had visited their house already this year and left something special for Mason. Such a cute basket with all sorts of goodies. Some great things for the beach. A hat, sunglasses, a monkey water bottle, some shoes, tee shirts, and a cell phone. GOODNESS!! I was pleasantly surprised. Mason actually wore the hat and glasses and boy, did he look handsome.

Fun with friends

Mason continues to have so much fun playing with Chase (and Alexa). They both LOVE to be outside either running around or riding in the wagon it doesn't matter to them. They also love sticks and rocks. It must be a boy thing! Ha!

Caught ya!! Chase is pulling the petals off of Mommy's flowers.

Mason loves to take Chase's "night, night" from him. Poor Chase!!

Cheese is good!

Mason loves cheese and now that he can talk, he asks for it all of the time. Even for breakfast...."CHEESE". I guess it's better than him asking for candy or cookies. I took these pictures a few days ago and forgot to post them to the blog.

CHEESE!!

It's good. Would you like some too?

Buddies

We had a much better visit with Chase and "the baby" this week. Last week, Mason and I both were in crabby moods, but we got over it and had a good time this week. Shelley and I were able to take the boys (and girl) outside this week. The weather was nice and it worked out great. Chase and Mason both, love to be outside. We took a walk (the boys rode in the wagon) through the neighborhood and then came back to the house for a little swing time.

It's a little difficult once the boys are out of the wagon, they are going in all different directions. For some reason, they didn't want to stay in the back yard or even in the same location as each other. Shelley is running on one side of the house and I'm on the other side trying to get them to stay in one place. Yeah, right!! HA! Poor Alexa is like "hey, I'm still here, you know".

Mason is so funny. As soon as we get in the car (to go anywhere), he starts saying "Chase, baby" meaning Chase and Alexa, but once we get to their house, he calls Chase baby too. He still calls Alexa baby and he'll point to her head and say "ball". :) He was getting a kick out of her this week. He is always so interested in her and what she is doing. He loves to touch her hand and then he laughs and laughs. It's to cute. Of course, the whole time, I'm saying "no touch" terrified that he is going to hurt her. He is going through the stage of, let's throw everything just to see what it looks like or what it will hit in the process. OH BOY!! I don't think so. Apparently, it's a boy thing. Chase is doing it too!

Goodness! This is before Mason's haircut. WOW! It was shaggy. We just didn't want to let go.
