Boxes, Boxes....

Everywhere I look, there are boxes. I guess this is a good thing, right? We are moving. It seems like we have been moving for 3 months. We're so ready for this to be over. I don't think anyone likes moving. If you do, come help us! :)

We may have to have a yard sale once we get into the new house. We haven't been getting rid of anything (other than big items). Since we are downsizing, not everything will be able to go into the new house. People have to much "stuff" anyway. Most of the "stuff" you don't use, it's just there, collecting dust.

A couple of dates to remember:

Goodbye block party on Sunday, 8/22. Our neighbors, which have become our friends, have planned a cookout for us. We're excited! Hopefully, this is not a good-bye, but more like a see ya later. We definitely want to stay in touch with all of them.

Mason is going to Grammy and Paw Paw's house for the weekend, on Wednesday, 8/25. Poor fella has been away from us more than with us lately. This is the last night in our house of 8 years. Very weird!

Movers at our house the morning of Thursday, 8/26. They will be helping us load the rental truck with all of the furniture. Hopefully, Kevin and I will be able to load all or most of the boxes. Possibly dropping stuff off at the new house. Not sure if we'll be able yet. Waiting to hear back from the builder. Then heading to Stedman to spend the night with Mason.

Closing day, Friday, 8/27. We will be closing on both homes this day and moving in to the new house. LONG day!!!!

The rest of the weekend will be spent setting up the furniture in the new house and unpacking a few boxes.

We are sooooooo looking forward to this being over!!

Sorry, there are no pictures to post. We have been taking lots of video of Mason lately, but we're not uploading anything else on our computer until after we move. More than likely, we'll be getting a laptop so that there's not so much equipment taking up space. Fine with me. I would rather have a laptop.

I'm sure we'll take lots of pictures at our block party.
