Playtime and smiles...7 and 8 weeks

In the last couple of weeks, Mason has been more alert and enjoys playtime. He likes sitting in the bouncy seat and he loves going for car and stroller rides too. We've just discovered that he likes to swing in the swing as long as he is swinging from side to side. We thought that he didn't like to swing (only sitting in it), but it was swinging front to back that he doesn't like as much. Although, we haven't tried again lately. Babies change so much from day to day.

Crib or NOT! 8 Weeks

Daddy says it's time for Mason to sleep in his crib so we have been testing the waters a little this week. I've tried to put Mason in his crib for a nap and so far he is not liking it at all. The first day I left him in the crib for about 10 minutes and then the next day for 20 minutes. Each time he cries and cries the entire time. I thought after 20 minutes of crying he would fall asleep, but evidently he is patient (or not). He is getting too big for his bassinet (length, not weight), but what do you do?
