Just for mommy

Hey y'all!

Guess what I've been doing?!

Yep, that's right!  I finally joined Thrity-One Gifts.  I really do love the bags, totes, organizers, and, well everything!

Now, I'm excited to share them with y'all!

Why did I join?  Well, I really have loved this company since my first purchase about 5 years ago.  With Mason going back to school in a few weeks, I wanted something for myself.  Something fun.  As a stay at home mom, I sometimes (most of the time) fall in to the same routine.  Cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, you know, all the stuff that comes with running a household.

Don't get me wrong.  I love being home with Mason, but working with Thirty-One will give me something to look forward too.  Something just for mommy.

Another reason....  This is the Thirty-One Gifts Mission Statement

Thirty-One is more than just a company. We are people who believe in celebrating, encouraging and rewarding women for who they are. Through God's strength, we've built a family of individuals who feel women deserve to treat themselves to something special. Our commitment is to provide women with a fulfilling, enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Also, in case you were wondering, the name Thirty-One came from Proverbs 31 which talks about a virtuous woman.

I'm really excited about my new adventure.  I'm scared too!  I really want to succeed at this new business, but in order to do so, you really need the support of others.

There is such a fine line between being persistent and being annoying.  I certainly don't want to annoy my friends and family! But at the same time, I need to be persistent and consistent with my business.

Maybe I'll just stalk people in the grocery store or Target, where ever I may be that day! HA!!  Just kidding!  I am a pretty social person, so I would not put it passed me to approach someone shopping and give them my business card.

I will add a logo to my sidebar that will lead you directly to my new website.

In the meantime, you can click here and check it out.

A little sneak peak of the Fall catalog!  There is a lot of Plum and Jade this coming season.

This is the Vary You Versatile Bag.

Vary You Wristlet (accordian fold with 3 separate pockets)

Celebrate Card Set complete with 31 assorted cards and envelopes for $31!!  $1 per card... that's a good deal!

For all you organized peeps (me too)!

Hang-up Home Organizer, perfect for your command center.

OH!  We even have dog leashes and collars!  WOO HOO!  You know bruiser will be sportin' one of these.

The question is, how can you support me?  Well, it's simple.  Host a party (in home or online), make purchases, or hey, you could even join Thirty-One.

My goal is not unreachable.  Honestly, at this point, I just want to get my feet wet.  In order, to maintain active with the company, I have to sell $200 per quarter.  That's really not that hard and I know I have y'all to help me, right!

I continue to post about our family happenings, and in addition, one day per week, I will post something related to Thirty-One.

Stay tuned peeps and hang in there with me.

Thanks already for your support!

Do you have a small business or have you recently started a business?  If so, I would love to hear your opinion and/or suggestions on how you became successful.

Tuesday's Tip ~ Linen Closet Organization

Hey y'all!  Well, I haven't given you a tip in forever which was motivation for me to organize a bit.

I started out with the linen closet.

First I began taking everything out of the closet to start from scratch.

Basically this is what it looked like before I began.  Well, I started and then realized I needed to take pictures.

Everything seemed mismatched.  First aid, toiletries, towels, sheets, blankets, etc.

The first aid supplies and our toiletries were the biggest challenge.

All of the first aid supplies were just thrown in this container.  We had 4 neosporins, 3 hydrocortisone creams, and bandaids everywhere!

Then I thought about containers I had on hand.  Like this pretty little container that I got free to hold a roll of toilet paper.  I never used it for that and it has sat in the bottom of the cabinet for a year.

I put all of the smaller tubes of medicine in this container.

All of the bandaids were put in this container, which was from crystal light packs.

This glass canister now holds samples and extra tooth brushes.

Almost there...  This closet is actually pretty large.

All of the larger items were put in the baskets.

AHHHH!  This is much better.  Now everything is organized in baskets that I had on hand.  I didn't purchase 1 thing for this project.

And all of the towels, wash cloths, and hand towels, are now in the bathroom where they belong.

There is even more room to put a shelf here for more storage.

Voila!  The finished product.  This makes me happy.
