GOSH!! I have a lot of catching up to do. I had always heard that time flies when you have a baby and that you should enjoy every second of every day. Well, I guess we have been doing just that and in the meantime blogs aren't being updated, email isn't being checked (or voicemail). I do manage to do laundry and cook dinner (most nights). It is very challenging trying to get everything accomplished in a day. I must say that staying home with Mason has been much harder than I thought and much harder than any job that I have ever had in my life, but it is also the most rewarding. Sometimes I get so stressed from lack of sleep and Mason is crying. I can't figure out what is wrong with him and then I look down and he's smiling. I have been crying and laughing at the same time and sometimes wondering "What have I gotten myself into", but then you see that precious smile and you know. Mason is still such a good baby. I wish he would sleep sometimes, but each day is getting better. He has just recently started smiling for real (it's not gas related). We haven't been able to capture it yet on camera, but I'm sure that we will soon. He has really grown too. We're not exactly sure how much he weighs, but it's definitely 9 lbs. His next doctor appointment is Aug. 3rd so we'll find out for sure. He is wearing 0-3 month clothes, but they are still a little large on him. He is now eating 5 oz. at every meal, which is normally every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Unfortunately, the nursing just didn't work for us. I never realized how hard that would be either. That's a whole other story in itself. So, all in all, I would say the Kranz family is doing quite well.
